Since the post-pandemic period, the role of technology in the financial sector has grown significantly. A growth manifested in the form of increased access, affordability, efficiency and security of financial products and services, thereby enriching the customer experience and service quality.

At NOA, we strongly believe in the key role of technology in shaping the future. Since our beginnings in 1998, we have continuously invested in leveraging new technologies to best serve our customers.
Our previous slogan #ReinventingMicrofinance and our current one #HumanFinance speak our vision.
That being said, while we acknowledge technology as a powerful and value-added asset in running our business, with a focus on #HumanFinance, we remain vigilant to the risks associated with technology, especially in the area of ​​cyber security, which is become a necessary criterion in the environment in which we operate. For this reason, protecting the interests of customers and ensuring the privacy of their data are primary objectives in our IT agenda.

Our continued investments in technology solutions, including robust cyber security measures, have delivered tangible benefits, enabling us to improve customer service, strengthen data protection and expand our reach to serve customers in proper form without avoiding human contact. At NOA, we are aware of the synergy that comes as a result of the interaction between technology and humans so we tend to optimize technological advances that translate into meaningful engagements with our clients.


Some of the most important projects taken during the 2023-2024 period in thies field are:

· Continuous improvement of our key systems to connect based on a customer/human centric approach.
· Introduction of dedicated systems to our partners by consolidating automations and internal integrations.
· Implementation of advanced security solutions using Artificial Intelligence to proactively analyze and mitigate cyber threats.
· Progress towards creating Digital Onboarding and electronic signature capabilities.


Furthermore, we are actively pursuing the automation of manual operational processes, consolidating NOA's market position as a technology pioneer in Albania. These technology investments are all implemented while maintaining an unwavering commitment to preserving the essence of our human interactions, both within our institution and with our customers, while staying true to our core values. For us, embracing technological innovations in the sector is not intended to replace human interactions, but rather to encourage them. Hence, this is a dual commitment to a human-to-human approach ensuring continuous innovation and impeccable customer service to ensure a harmonious blend of technological advancement with personalized service.
