NOA's "Institutional Rating" covers 5 different areas related to:

- the external context of the sector, including economic and political developments, the market where NOA operates and its regulatory framework;
- the company's governance and strategy, which includes elements that affect the shareholder structure, decision-making and risk assessment policies, environmental and social impact strategies, as well as those that affect market positioning and operations;

- the processes and systems, such as management of human resources and IT systems, the evaluation of the audit and internal control, etc.;

- financial profile, which includes the company's profitability and sustainability, financing, liquidity, asset and liability management, etc.

- the quality of the loan portfolio, quality and concentration of the portfolio, risk coverage, portfolio management, etc.

Based on these assessment criteria, NOA was rated in January 2023, with the grade "α- high".

NOA's "α- high" rating is positioned between the "good" and "excellent" category, which confirms NOA's status as one of the leading financial institutions in Albania.
