NOA starts a new cooperation with USAID in supporting the Footwear & Apparel Sector!

An export priority sector with a high impact on employment, NOA launches a new cooperation with USAID aiming to support Albanian Footwear & Apparel companies.

A novelty for the Albanian financial market, the initiative will support the creation of a tailormade financial product dedicated exclusively to the sector responding as a result to the concrete needs and characteristics of companies operating in this sector in the country.

In particular, the initiative aims to support companies that have difficulties in accessing the banking system by offering adapted financing in order to maintain their competitiveness, increase jobs, renew production technologies, select best quality materials, etc.

In this context, the project foresees the provision of a specialized technical assistance offered to the borrowing companies, so their loan produces the best and most sustainable impact.

As a sector with a high focus on women, the initiative will also ensure a dedicated attention to the social effects in this regard.
