Aim of the project
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is an international exchange program that offers young entrepreneurs and aspiring ones (New Entrepreneurs) the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs (Host Entrepreneurs) leading small, medium, or even large businesses in other participating countries of the European Union and beyond. The exchange of experience takes place during a stay of 1-6 months with experienced entrepreneurs and helps young entrepreneurs gain the necessary skills to run a business. Host entrepreneurs benefit from the perspective of young entrepreneurs on their business and find opportunities to collaborate with foreign partners or learn about new markets.
This program is supported by the European Union through the European Innovation Council and the Executive Agency for SMEs (EISMEA). A Partnership is part of this program, consisting of 10 partners and 9 different countries such as Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Armenia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands/France, Albania, and Turkey. The implementation period of the project is 4 years (until January 31, 2027). There is no sectoral limitation, so all sectors are included, but it is important to meet the administrative application criteria.
