Social responsibility

Along with the development of the company and the increase of our financial strength, our opportunity and responsibility to positively influence the environment around us also increases. The responsibility that an individual must bear throughout his personal and professional development and growth should also be that of every company or institution built from the dreams and vision of a group of individuals to achieve success and leave a mark on the development of human society.
Sensitive to any development in the environment around us, in the social and environmental dimension, and careful to the model we need and want to follow in our society, we constantly strive to maintain the role of a responsible and supportive institution. In this context, we are proud to express our continued increasing attention and assistance to the four pillars of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Environmental Responsibility

In an organized fashion within our institution, and in cooperation with private and state partners, we undertake physical and financial commitments to clean, make greener, or improve certain urban or rural areas. These are conveyed through voluntary actions of our staff, or in the form of sponsorship of certain projects of Municipalities or Administrative Centres throughout the country.

Philanthropic Initiatives

Each financial year, the company sets a budget to support various philanthropic initiatives to help communities in need, but also activities that influence the overall development of society and promote positive social models, such as artistic or sporting activities. In addition to the above, the employees of our institution, influenced by the institutional encouragement to create positive role models in society, voluntarily offer their personal assistance to various communities in need.

Ethical Business Practices

The structure of our institution has been continuously established and improved through the inclusion of procedures and regulations that make the application of ethical business practices mandatory, both in relationships built with employees and those established with partners and associates. Some concrete examples of application of these standards are :

Fair treatment of employees excluding any form of social prejudice

Maintaining a balanced gender representation in the institution

Development of programs dedicated to professional development and job satisfaction

Establish and maintain correct relationships with partners, associates and suppliers by being careful in selecting those that reflect high business ethics

Development of educational, counselling and assistance programs for our clients

Economic Responsibility

In addition to concrete assistance in specific projects, the internal procedures that regulate the lending activity of our institution, make it mandatory to exclude from the right to finance a long list of businesses which during their activity may have a negative impact on the environment or society, in compliance with national legislation and international conventions.
